Congratulations Elementary School Academic Bowl Winners!

Little River Elementary School is the overall winner of the Cherokee County School District 2026 Elementary School Academic Bowl!

The schools, for the competition, were organized into four leagues, which each also named a winner: League 1, Little River ES; League 2, Carmel ES; League 3, Macedonia ES; League 4, Boston ES.

The annual event gives teams the opportunity to demonstrate academic knowledge through competition.  Congratulations to our teams and their coaches!  Our School Board is laser focused on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else.

Little River ES team members are: David Fanimokun, Mason Henninger, Alexis Lewis, Mustafa Mahroof, Logan Montano Flores, Tyler Paulo, Shreesh Patil, Isaac Pope, and Luke Schwartz .  Their coach is teacher Megan Mayfield.

Carmel ES team members are: Korina Beavers, Sofia Campelo, Trevor Grieshaber, Enzo Inaudi, Hazel Larson, Olive Larson, and Sophia McCoy. Their coaches are teachers Amy Mary and Ashley Roth.

Macedonia ES team members are: Colby Bonham, Arthur Carlan, Forrest Dame, Arthur Djablou Ezin, Sarah Mak Fox, Laurel Raines, Sarah Robbins, and Sullivan Thompson.  Their coaches are teachers Kristina Cribb and Sarah Weiss.

Boston ES team members are: Carter Halstead, Riley Jung, Mordi Karpeh,   Olive Maniscalco, Jack Saroli, Crosby Stevens, Sabrina Wasdin, and Stephen Wirth.  Their coaches are teachers Tara Boden, Carolyn Halloran, and Samantha Wasdin.
