Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Alexandra Fann of Macedonia ES!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day! Fourth-grade math teacher Alexandra Fann, a nine-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Macedonia Elementary School!
“Her classroom is consistently a reflection of her exceptional teaching,” shared a former student’s parent. “Our son started fourth grade feeling anxious about areas where he was behind. Mrs. Fann didn’t just listen to our concerns — she worked with us and kept us updated on every milestone he reached. Her encouragement helped him go from a child who felt discouraged to one who thrived. He said, ‘Mrs. Fann helped me realize that I am actually really good at figuring out how to do hard things and I’m really good at math, maybe even the best!’ By the end of the year, he exceeded his academic goals and gained a renewed sense of confidence.”
